Doru Catalin Bostina is an expert in business law. He was a legal consultant for several major Romanian investment projects and supervised legal matters related to many energy, oil and gas deals. In his position as the Managing Partner of “Bostina & Associates” Law firm he was deeply involved in coordinating the most important projects in which the Firm took part.

Doru Catalin Bostina is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since 1992 A graduate of Bucharest Law Faculty, he also attended the French – Romanian Institute of Business Administration becoming an expert in Business Administration and Financial Management.

Between 1999 and 2000 he was the legal adviser of the Romanian Finance Minister, a position that gave him the chance to have an insight view of the complex matters of fiscal administration.

Ancuta is a member of Bostina & Associates team of lawyers selected by the Ministry of Public Finance with a view to representing Romania and other public institutions before the Court of International Arbitration of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), member of Bostina & Associates team of lawyers selected by the Phare Central Finance and Contracting Unit – Ministry of Public Finance with a view to granting legal assistance and representation in respect of the contracts financed within the ISPA and PHARE pre-adhesion programmes, managed by the Phare Central Finance and Contracting Unit.


The specialization in dispute resolution offers Ancuta substantial experience in legal assistance and representation in court or in internal and international arbitration, in establishing strategies to approach disputes and in managing complex lawsuits, either in terms of the merits of the case or by interconnection with other disputes, procedures or legal deeds.

In 2009, Business Magazin included Ancuta among the first 100 young top managers, acknowledging her outstanding contribution to the development of Bostina and Associates during the past year.

 

 

 

 

 

Cezar GUSU

Cezar has a long experience in the sector of financial and banking institutions and also expertise in the formation and activity of credit institutions and of non-banking financial institutions, to which he provides current consultancy.

He took part in major bank syndication  and international financing projects generally carried out including by international financial bodies and counts among his achievements successful projects in banking retail ranging from assistance provided for launching new banking products and services to the implementation of central bank’s set of rules concerning risk management in this area.

In addition to the foregoing, he has relevant expertise in adjacent areas such as procurement and mergers which is not confined to procurement on the banking market but also regards the financing component of such procurement projects and mergers carried out by various companies.
