“Bostina & Associates Lawyers” has been selected by the Ministry of Economy and Finance as its legal adviser on the listing of Nuclearelectrica S.A. on the capital market. Thus, „Bostina & Associates Lawyers” will provide legal assistance in relation to drafting the required documents, selecting the broker, negotiating the brokerage agreement and assist during the subsequent public offering process.
Bostina & Associates’ Capital Market Department faces a new challenge but the portfolio of major projects that have been successfully completed with our assistance (Transgaz and Transelectrica listing, Alumil listing, issuance of Yioula Glassworks bonds, STK listing – closed end fund) represents a solid premise that entitles us to believe that we can have a notable contribution to this project too.
Although on an upward trend during the past years the Romanian capital market is small when compared to similar emerging economies’ markets. The investors seldom complain about the lack of diversity of the trading instruments and about the market institutions’ plans for attracting new issuers.
„The year 2008 is a promising one. Our department is already involved in almost all on-going projects on the Romanian capital market. We are advising on listing RO Future Group where - as legal advisers - we drafted the relevant documentation related to the preliminary prospect which has been approved by CNVM; we are taking the first steps towards the listing of ARO Palace where, as legal adviser of the broker, we shall draft the documentation related to the prospect to be subjected to the CNVM approval”, says Olimp Barbulescu, senior associate with “Bostina & Associates Lawyers”, that heads the Capital Market department.
The project of Nuclearelectrica’s listing will be lead by Olimp Barbulescu, who has a solid experience in capital markets that has been gained in years within CNVM, and, subsequently, with “Bostina & Associates Lawyers”.
Our law firm is involved in the process of listing the International Airport Henri Coanda, advising the Ministry of Transport on the selection of the broker and the negotiation of the brokerage agreement for listing Administratia Porturilor Galati, Administratia Porturilor Giurgiu, Administratia Porturilor Constanta, Administratia Canalelor Navigabile, companies within the patrimony of this ministry. We also provide current assistance to Fondul Proprietatea in relation to capital market related matters.
