Bostina & Associates Law Firm will give away also in 2009 four scholarships to the third- and fourth-year students of the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest, respectively to fourth-year students of A.I.Cuza University of Iasi and of Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj.

Bostina Scholarships were launched in 2006 at the University of Bucharest, being extended in 2007 to A.I.Cuza University of Iasi and – beginning with 2008 – to Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj. Each scholarship is EUR 200 per month and is granted for the entire academic year [October - June] in which the students are involved in the academic activities of their respective universities. The scholarships entitle the beneficiaries to get acquainted, as early as their studying years, to gain some practice within one of Romania’s largest law firms.

These scholarships are intended to encourage students to thoroughly research those areas of law practice that are directly connected with the dynamics of the Romanian economy. As the last years saw subjects related to the capital market and the financial and banking domain this year we propose to participants subjects from the energy area.

Amid the current economic background, it is essential to support the young law students. We have invested and will continue to invest in the long run in the professional development of the Law students. After graduation, the beneficiaries of the scholarships may work with us, one of the most dynamic law firms in Romania which, in order to sustain their development, needs well-prepared young lawyers.
