Following the award procedure organized by the Ministry of the Environment and Forests – the Authority for the Management of the Operational Sectoral Environmental Program (OSEP), Boştină & Associates is among the law firms selected to enter into a legal service framework agreement.

The purpose of the agreement is the provision of legal services - legal advice, legal reporting, legal services related to the EU-funded projects, legal information - for the management of OSEP. Moreover, such legal services include the contracting authority’s representation before any authorities/institutions/public bodies, mainly in relation to the following: environmental law (the legislation on environmental protection, especially the legislation on waste), labour law, intellectual property law, business law, financial law, administrative law, international trade law, civil law, criminal law, trade law and Community law.

Boştină & Associates’ expert team that took part in the selection was coordinated by Partner Cătălin Gâscan. The team members are lawyers specializing in dispute resolution and arbitration, infrastructure, environmental law and public services, banking, international trade and public procurement.

Pursuant to Government Decision 1635/2009, the Authority for the Management of OSEP is a general department of the Ministry for the Environment and Forests (the General Department AM of the OSEP). AM coordinates and manages OSEP, drafts implementation procedures, selects projects, enters into financing agreements, fulfils the publicity and information requirements in relation to the program, reports the program implementation status to the EC, etc.
