Bostina&Associates financial data 2007

FEBRUARY 2008

“Bostina & Associates” achieved their 2007 growth target, with 14.49 million EUR in revenues, a 15% increase in comparison with the previous year. The departments that contributed most were: dispute resolution, privatization, IT&C and real estate.

For “Bostina & Associates”, 2007 was a year of organic growth, sustained by an increase in the number of clients, the number of lawyers, as well as the expansion of its nationwide office network that allowed the management of several projects in various fields of the Romanian economy.

“Speaking strictly in quantitative terms, we tried to maintain the last years’ pace of growth by diversifying our services, increasing the number of lawyers and attracting new clients. In qualitative terms, we took part in a series of very sophisticated projects – in domains such as capital market, privatization, infrastructure, real estate, IT&C etc. – in which our lawyers managed to successfully cope with the professional challenges that broke new grounds on the Romanian legal consultancy market”, says Doru Catalin Bostina.

The 15% growth recorded during a year when the Romanian economy failed to attain the spectacular rates of the previous years was due to the implementation of a modern management, to an adequate management of resources that allowed us to tackle extremely complex projects. In 2008 we will continue to expand our nationwide office network with 2 – 3 new offices and we will strengthen even more the back-office bringing in more expertise in the financial and marketing fields, which will contribute to the improvement of the quality of our lawyers’ work, so that we will be able to maintain our top position among the leaders of the Romanian legal consultancy market.

The strategic objective for 2008 is to consolidate the position in the top of the largest law firms in Romania by carrying on the national network extension policy with other 3 – 4 territorial offices, by augmenting the number of lawyers and by approaching new projects. We wish to exceed, in 2008, the collection threshold of EUR 20 million.
