Boştină & Associates was awarded “2011’s most active law firm in the field of environmental legal consulting” prize during the 5th edition of “Gala Premiilor Revistei Infomediu Europa”, an event organized by the REPORTER Press Group. Over 200 guests from the public administration, the economic field and the mass media attended the award ceremony that took place at the Residence Domenii Plaza Hotel.

Year after year, the ceremony of “Gala Premiilor Revistei Infomediu Europa” brings together NGOs, Romanian companies involved in environmental protection and key names from the business environment, the public administration and politics. The Gala is a complex and well-known large-scale event, dedicated to the personalities who have supported the remarkable intitiatives taken by all those involved in environmental protection, and who have contributed to raising environmental awareness.

“Boştină & Associates” has won this prize for the second time, after receiving it first in 2009.

Cătălin Gîscan, coordinator of the Public Utilities and Environment departments of “Boştină & Associates”: “The volume of legal consulting on environment and utilities-related issues has increased substantially, due to the large number of projects launched to attract funding for the improvement and expansion of the environmental infrastructure (water, sewage, waste), but also due to the public authorities’ and public services operators’ increasing need for specialized advice on the implementation of projects that have already received funding.”
