Bostina & Associates was awarded “The Most Active Law Firm in the Capital Market Area” prize by the Brokers’ Association during the 8th edition of the “Capital Market Awards Ceremony”. Over 300 guests from the financial, banking, political, economic fields and the mass media attended the award ceremony that took place at the Intercontinental Hotel Bucharest.

Olimp Barbulescu, the head of the Capital Market Department at Bostina & Associates: “I am delighted that our team received such a prestigious recognition for the work done this year, a very challenging year for the Romanian capital market. The legal advice provided to the Commission that selected the Fondul Proprietatea’s management company, legal assistance in the project for setting-up the investment fund managing the minority interests belonging to the Authority for the Recovery of State Assets [AVAS] portfolio and – not the least – legal assistance and representation to SIF Banat Crisana and SIF Moldova in capital market cases, are only a few of the benchmark projects in 2009.

It is for the second time that “Bostina & Associates” wins the prize for “The Most Active Law Firm in the Capital Market Area”, the first being in 2007. Over the past years, “Bostina & Associates” was a constant presence on the Romanian capital market, being involved in the majority of the successful projects in this field.
